Wheel thrown ceramic citrus mug

Each piece is made entirely by hand, making them unique with no two ever the same.

After being thrown and trimmed on the wheel, they are hand painted and carved freely wrapping the entire piece. Many steps are taken to achieve the dynamic layers of each design, using elements of Sgraffito and Mishima techniques. 

The pieces are then fired to cone 6 in my electric kiln and hand painted with glazes to achieve a vibrant and glossy result.
